What this tool does

Robotsdiff is a stateless diagnostic tool. When you enter a domain name, it fetches that domain's robots.txt file and sitemaps over the public internet, parses them, and displays the results in your browser. The tool has no database, no user accounts, and no persistent storage of any kind.

What data is collected

We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:

  • We do not collect your IP address. The Cloudflare edge handles requests and may record connection metadata for operational purposes under its own privacy policy.
  • We do not use cookies, local storage, or any form of client-side persistence.
  • We do not log the domain names you check. Each check is handled as a standalone request with no recording.
  • We do not have user accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for or log in to.

How the tool works

Every check is self-contained. Your browser sends a domain name to the Cloudflare Worker that runs this service. The Worker fetches the public robots.txt and sitemap files from the domain you specified, parses them in memory, and returns the comparison results. No intermediate data is written to disk, stored in a database, or retained after the response is sent.

Third-party services

This service is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare's edge network processes incoming requests and may retain connection metadata in accordance with Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. No other third-party services receive data from this tool.

Data retention

We do not retain any data. A check's inputs and results exist only in the active memory of the Worker during request processing and are discarded when the response is complete. Cloudflare edge logs may contain request metadata (timestamps, status codes, approximate region) for operational purposes; these logs are governed by Cloudflare's data retention policies.

Your rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about this policy, contact the operator through the means they make available. No email address or contact form is provided because no mailbox has been established for this business.
