No legal entity registered yet. This business has not established a registered company, address, or jurisdiction. The operator must supply the entity name, address and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Until then, this document describes the service as it operates in practice.

What this service is

Robotsdiff is a free, stateless diagnostic tool. Given a domain name, it fetches that domain's public robots.txt file and sitemaps, parses them, and reports URLs that appear in both a sitemap and a Disallow rule. The service has no user accounts, no database, and no persistent storage. Every check is independent.

Acceptance

By using Robotsdiff, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Use of the service

You may use Robotsdiff for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:

  • Use the service to harass, stalk, or harm any person or entity.
  • Submit domains at a rate that exceeds normal use, as determined by reasonable judgment (the service is stateless and rate limiting is minimal).
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Cloudflare Worker that powers this service.
  • Represent the output of this tool as a definitive judgment about a domain's indexing status, ranking, or search engine standing.

No warranties

This service is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. The contradiction detection uses parsers that approximate RFC 9309 conventions and sitemap XML structure. Results may be incomplete for robots.txt files with complex wildcard patterns or sitemap XML that is malformed in unusual ways. The tool does not guarantee that it finds every contradiction or that every reported contradiction is meaningful.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of this service is not liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to decisions you make based on the output of the tool.

Intellectual property

The code, design, and branding of this service are owned by the operator. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works of the service or its components without permission.

No payment processor is connected. This business does not have a wired payment processor. The Pro tier is in development and cannot be purchased. The checkout form on the Pricing page is a client-side demo — it does not capture, transmit, or store payment data. These billing terms will apply once a processor is connected and the Pro tier is launched.

Pro subscription — what you get

The Pro tier grants access to bulk domain comparison, CSV/JSON export, priority processing, and scheduled re-checks. Features may be added or removed over time; substantial removals will be communicated in advance. You must be capable of accepting online payments to purchase a subscription.

Price and billing period

The Pro subscription is priced at $9 per month, billed in advance on a monthly cycle. The first charge occurs on the day you subscribe. Each subsequent charge occurs on the same calendar day of the following month. Prices are quoted in US dollars and do not include taxes; applicable taxes will be added at checkout.

Failed payments

If a recurring charge fails (card declined, expired, insufficient funds), we will retry the charge automatically every 3 days for up to 14 days. After 14 consecutive days of failed retries, the subscription is cancelled and access to Pro features is revoked. You will not be charged again. You may re-subscribe at any time with a valid payment method and pick up where you left off.

Refund policy

If you are dissatisfied with the Pro tier for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your most recent payment. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except in the case of a service defect that prevents the core functionality from working at all (and has not been resolved within 7 days of reporting). Refund requests made after cancellation of a subscription will be honoured within the 14-day window.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from within your account. After cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period and does not renew. No partial refunds are given for a cancelled billing period unless the cancellation falls within the 14-day refund window (see above).

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

Until a jurisdiction is established by the operator, no governing law is specified. This section will be updated when a legal entity is registered.
